Jeanelle Kay Towse Wirtz, 67, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on April 1, 2026, in Oklahoma City, OK. Viewing will be between 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm, Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Trout Funeral Home. A Rosary Ceremony will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Trout Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, April 10, 2026, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Jeanelle was born on November 20, 1958, in Hutchinson, KS, to Lyle and Shirley Ann (Jennings) Towse. She married Jerry Wirtz on September 23, 1977, in Ponca City. She and her husband owned a small business for over 30 years. Jeanelle was an amazing cook and loved to host, making holidays and birthdays a memorable event. She enjoyed sports, RV traveling vacations with family & friends, and being in the kitchen baking

Jeanelle is survived by: her husband of the home; children, Lisa Ingram of Yukon, OK, Jennifer Wirtz of Ponca City, OK; grandchildren, Austin Ingram, Jayden Ingram, Andrew Wirtz, Charleigh Ingram; great-grandchildren, Arden Ingram, Bowen Ingram, Brody Ingram; sisters, Connie Evans of Omaha, NE, Rebecca Diebold of Ponca City, OK; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and other family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's School Foundation, 415 S. Seventh St., Ponca City, OK 74601.
