March 2, 1965 - January 18, 2026

Auristel "Chito" Aguirre, age 60, of Ponca City, OK, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18th at his home. Viewing will be held between 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Trout Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 28th at 10:00 am at St. Luke's Church of the Nazarene. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Auristel was born on March 2, 1965, in Juarez, Mexico to Arquimedes & Guadalupe Aguirre. He grew up in Ponca City and later made Van Alystne, TX, home. Auristel was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend who was known for his one-of-a-kind heart, playful spirit, kindness, and strength. He worked as a concrete driver for 25 years and took great pride in his work, providing for his family, and serving others.

He enjoyed spending quality time with his loved ones, coaching football along with watching his Oklahoma Sooners. His passions include - fishing with his grandkids, sports, church, and cherishing time spent with family and friends.

He is lovingly remembered by his children: Donnie and Rita McMillin, daughter, Elara, Teresa and Clint Smith; sons, Kenny, Jared, and Wade, Devin Aguirre. He is also survived by his siblings, Jose and Mari Lu Aguirre; daughters, Sylvia Aker, Veronica Ortiz and son, Andy Aguirre; Peta Trenary, daughter, Mikaela Garrison and son, Luke Trenary, Amandi Garcia, sons, Trent Goldsmith & Brent Goldsmith; Ana and Maurilio Pando, son Zachary Pando. His former wife, Kim Aguirre, sons, Andrew and Kyle Crilly.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. Pallbearers Include: Donnie McMillian, Devin Aguirre, Alfredo Esparza,Joe Dale, Kenny Ray Smith, Andy Aguirre. Honorary Pallbearer will be Trent Goldsmith.
