Owen Bud Nottingham
October 26, 1941 ~ August 21, 2022 (age 80)

Owen (Bud) Nottingham - age 80, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Brother was called to his eternal resting place on Sunday, August 21, 2022. Bud entered this world on October 26, 1941 in Stillwater, OK, born to John Nottingham and Mary Nottingham.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, in the Round Grove Cemetery, west of Ponca City, officiated by Pastor Joseph Highley of First Lutheran Church.

Bud grew up in Ponca City and graduated from Ponca City High School in 1960. Upon graduation, he served his county in the United States Army from 1961-1964. Bud then met Judith L. Welch, and they made their home in Ponca City. Bud worked for Conoco Carbon for several years and was a member of the OCAW Union. He enjoyed spending time with his family, spoiling his grandchildren, and especially growing tomatoes. In his younger years, he also enjoyed hunting.

Survived by wife of 58 years, Judy Nottingham; daughter, Kim Bridges and husband Dennis of Knoxville, TN; son, Steven Nottingham of Ponca City, OK; grandchildren, Aubrey Powers of Ponca City, Joseph (Natalie) Furber of Ponca City, and Drew Bridges of Knoxville, TN; one great granddaughter, Amelia Lyndell Furber of Ponca City; son-in-law, Randy Furber of Ponca City; sister; Dorothy Morgan of Ponca City; and many nieces and nephews.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Nottingham; daughter, Amy Nottingham Furber; five brothers, Bobby, Donald, Gary, Jack, and Wayne Nottingham.
