Jay enjoyed traveling and was an active member in The First Church of the Nazarene. He took great joy in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Jay was loved and admired by those who knew him. His family feels that he set a great example for them to follow. He was always kind, giving, honest, hard-working and fair. He made each one of them feel special and loved beyond measure. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. He was unique in the fact that he never had a bad word to say of anyone and instead would find a person’s good qualities and praise them for those.
