Ramona Jeanine Rheam Sheldon, 77, of Ponca City, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in Tulsa, OK.

Ramona was born on May 22, 1937 in Ponca City to Arnold and Eula Black Rheam. She had attended Roosevelt School, East Jr. High, and was a 1955 graduate of Ponca City High School. Ramona married B.P. Nick Sheldon in October 1958. She had worked for the City of Ponca City, and then became a stay at home MOM raising thier 4 children. When her youngest turned 13, she went to work for CONOCO and later at Group 21Century 21 realty, retiring in 2002. She was a member of the First Christian Church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines. She had received several Gallon pins from blood donations in which she was very proud. Her hobbies included puzzles, fishing, spending time with her grandkids and tending her beautiful flowers.

Ramona was preceded in death by her parents, Brother Max Rheam, SisterMarilyn Stowers.

Ramona is survived by her four Children and their spouses Mike Sheldon of Blanchard, OK, Cindy Ray Garza of Bartlesville, Jill Paul Butler of Bartlesville and Mandy Nick Morris of Ponca City. Four grandchildren Autumn Garza, Dylan Butler, Lexi Niki Morris. BrotherMaurice Rheam of Florida, Sisters Eleanor Kay Leh and Sheila Richard Swords both of Ponca City.

Her children expressed, That while we were growing up, we were very blessed to have a mom who devoted her life, time and attention to her family and the things they loved. She will be very missed and fondly remembered by all the lives she touched.

Funeral Services will be 10 am, Monday, July 21, 2014 in Grace Memorial Chapel with Rev. Roberta Shaffer, officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery of Ponca City.
