SANDERS, Vera Jean, 81, of Norman, OK passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 in Noble, OK. Vera was born on February 1, 1935 in Foraker, OK to Lloyd and Nelly Cook.

Vera loved sewing and making quilts, gardening, yard work and being outside.

Vera is survived by her three sons: Ted Sanders and wife, Dede, Lloyd Sanders and wife, Kim and Mike Sanders and wife, Lisa; one sister, Vanita Jacks; 9 Grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; and 1 Great-great Grandson.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ted Sanders, step-son, William Sanders and Grandson, Travis Sanders.

Viewing will be on Monday, August 29th at Havenbrook Funeral Home from 12-8 pm. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, August 30th at 10:00 am at the chapel at Havenbrook Funeral Home with Graveside services to follow at 2:30 pm at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in Ponca City, Ok .
