Emogene “Emmie” Hall Robinson, resident of Ponca City died Friday, October 17, 2003 at Shawn Manor Nursing Home in Ponca City, OK. She was 83. The funeral service will be held 2pm, Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003 in the chapel of the Trout Funeral Home with the Deacon Richard Robinson, officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park, under the direction of the Trout Funeral Home.

Emogene Robinson was born on May 29, 1920 in Pawhuska, to Charles Luther Hall and Dora (Beck) Hall. She attended schools in and around Osage and Kay County. She also attended Ponca City High School. Following her education she married Forrest H. Robinson June 3, 1939 by the Rev. J.J. Franklin in Ponca City, Okla. In 1947 they moved to Cedar St. in Ponca City. There they settled where she served her family as a homemaker. She remained in the home until 2002. She worked at the Ponca City hospital, East Jr. High School in the cafeteria. She also helped her sister with her café. She was a Charter Member of the Valley View Home Demonstration club. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, needlepoint, all of her grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. She also loved telling stories of the past.

She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Faye Estes of Piedmont; son John Robinson and his wife, Linda of Ponca City, OK; four grandsons; one step grandson; three granddaughters; one step granddaughter; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and one brother, Rufus Hall and his wife Bessie of Ponca City, OK.

She was preceded in Death by her husband Forrest H. Robinson; Parents and eleven brothers and sisters.

Casketbearers are Eric Estes, Sean Robinson, Forrest Robinson, Chad Estes, Larry Reasoner and Clint Coursey.
