Barbara Ann Ramsey, 58, resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and savior Friday, October 22, 2010 after a long battle with dementia.

Barbara was born January 25, 1952 in Shidler, Oklahoma to Bill and Betty Ramsey of Newkirk, Oklahoma. She graduated from Shidler High School, married and had three daughters, Lori Ann, Leslie Ann and Leesa Ann. She made her career in banking starting at Shidler Bank where she worked for several years to go on to finish her lifelong career at Bank of America in Ponca City. Barbara was a wonderful mother, wife and daughter. She was a beautiful person who loved to laugh, dance and have fun. Singing was also what she loved and was blessed with a beautiful voice. She loved antiques and collecting anything that had to do with Elvis. Barbara treasured the time spent with her family and friends, especially her grandkids.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Ann Ramsey of Newkirk, Oklahoma brother, Randy Ramsey sister, Vicky Lynn Chance of Houston, Texas her daughters, Lori Carlisle and husband, David Carlisle of Ponca City, Leslie Davidson and husband, Johnny of Salado, Texas and Leesa Goad and husband, Ronnie of Red Rock, Oklahoma five grandchildren, Brandon Carlisle, Megan Carlisle, Colter Davidson, Ramsey Davidson and Kylie Goad nieces, Kimberly Dawn Richard and husband, Kevin and daughter, Lauryn of Dallas, Texas and Jennifer Lynn Mangelinkx and husband, Joe and three sons, Jesse, Jaxon and Taylor of Houston, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her father, Bill Ramsey grandparents, Jesse and Mae Scott.

Casket bearers for the service will be Johnny Davidson, David Carlisle, Ronnie Goad, Brandon Carlisle, Merrill Chance and Wayne Scott.

The funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at The First Christian Church of Shilder with pastor, Doug Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
