Lila Lorene Pruett, age 79, of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed away April 5, 2021 at Alliance Health Medical Center, in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2pm on Friday April 9, 2021 at Faith Tabernacle Church with Pastor Don Stanton officiating. Lila will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.

Lila was born on July 30, 1941 in the Ralston/Big Bend area to Homer Christy and Clara Miller. Lila graduated from Fairfax High School in 1959. She married Charles Patterson and later married Sonny Pruett. She worked at Wal-Mart for 20 years. She was loved by everyone for her fun personality and quick wit. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister.

Survivors include Son; Stan Patterson and Brad Wingo of Oklahoma City, Daughter; Becky Hamrick and her husband Kevin of Ponca City, Grand Children; Blake and Meredith Hamrick of Oklahoma City, Jamie and Tyler Belt of Piedmont Ok and great grandson Barrett Belt. Brothers; Clarence Christy and Wife Billie of Enid Ok, Joe and Elsie Christy of Texas, Homer (Flick) Christy and wife Sharon of Enid. Sisters; Mary Wright of Tonkawa Oklahoma, Bonnie Wood and husband Carroll of Tonkawa Oklahoma, Glenda Garrison of Branson Missouri.

Preceding in death were her parents Homer and Clara Christy brothers William Wayne Christy and John Christy.

Casket bearers will be Darren Garrison, Justin Garrison, Jay Garrison, Gary Wood, Crystal Brown, and Bobby Wolfenbarger.
