Sara Lynn Posey, longtime resident of Ponca City, passed Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at her home. She was 56 years of age.

Sara was born September 11, 1958 in Ponca City, the daughter of Kenneth Eugene McKee and Wanda Laverne (Wilkson) McKee. She attended Lincoln, West Jr. High and was a 1976 graduate of Ponca City High School. She also attended Pioneer Vo-Tech where she received training as a medical assistant. She was married to David Lynn Bullington on June 25, 1977. She married Greg Posey on December 31, 1999 in Ponca City. Sara had been employed 161/2 years with Albertsons prior to being employed as a medical assistant for Dr. Gray.

Sara was a member of St. Luke?s Nazarene Church. Her enjoyments were spending time with her grandchildren and children, family gatherings, shopping on QVC, watching OU football with husband Greg, baking, singing and feeding the deer in her backyard.

She is survived by her husband, Greg, of the home; her parents, Kenneth and Wanda McKee of Ponca City; three children, Michael David Bullington of Ponca City, Kimberly Michelle Holman and husband Matthew, of Broken Arrow and Brandon Lee Bullington and wife Erica Lynn of Ponca City; one step-son, Ryan Posey and wife Betsy; one brother, Dr. Michael K. McKee, of Tulsa; two sisters, Pamela Jo Platt of Ponca City and twin sister, Mary Kay Davis of Billings, Oklahoma; grandchildren Mikayla, Dawson, Kaleb, Kyler, Karter, Kash and Kade; step-grandchildren Rachel, Autumn and Ally; her faithful dog Willow; lifelong friends Shiela Petersen, Sharon Hodges and Karen Howe; many other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; and two brothers-in-law.

Special thanks to Dr. Gray, Dr. Jagg and Jana, and all the staff of the Cancer Treatment Center of America, and all the cards, prayers, and food from St. Luke?s Church and Friends of Hospice.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at St. Luke?s Nazarene Church with Pastor David Frees presiding. Interment will be Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
