Paul Edward "Eddie" Northcutt, Jr., age 65, lifelong resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016, at his home. Friends and family may pay their respects at the funeral home from 4-8pm on Wednesday, and from 8am-8pm Thursday. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 6-7pm on Thursday. A funeral ceremony to gratefully remember his life will be held at 2:00pm Friday, August 26, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Ponca City with Reverend Michael Taylor and Pastor Don Stanton officiating. Following the ceremony he will be laid to rest in the mausoleum at Resthaven Memorial Park in Ponca City. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Eddie was born on his father's birthday May 19, 1951 to Paul Edward Northcutt, Sr. and Helen Lucille Jacobs Northcutt in Ponca City, OK. He was raised in Ponca City, graduating from Ponca City High School in 1969. Eddie married Kathleen Colberg on September 1, 1973 in Ponca City, OK. As an entrepreneur, Eddie co-owned and operated the Ponca Electric, later acquiring Kaw Landing Marina in 1985 ran it for about 16 years until ultimately starting Northcutt Bail Bonds in 2005 which will continue to be operated by his sons and daughter in law. As much as he enjoyed his vocational pursuits, he loved his family even more. Eddie loved watching OU Football with his children. He was always diligent, honest, and kind to others instilling those qualities into his sons. Eddie also loved outdoor activities, with hunting and fishing as his favorites.

Survivors include his beloved wife Kathy of the home, sons: Steven Whaley and wife Paige of Dallas, TX, Mike Lindsey and wife Kristin of Wichita, KS, Paul Northcutt and wife Lauri of Ponca City, Luke Northcutt and wife Becky of Ponca City, and Walter Northcutt and wife Stephanie of Lakewood, CO; sisters: Becky Stewart and husband Jim of Edmond, OK and Sarah Strawn and husband Larry of Edmond, OK; grandchildren: Hope Madden, Kelsey Whaley, Abby Whaley, Mason Whaley, Ellakate Whaley, Zach Whaley, Skylar Bybee, Braden Lindsey, Jaelyn Northcutt, Gracie Northcutt, Cooper Northcutt, Benjamin Northcutt and one more arriving soon, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
