Elsie Cloha Hoyer, age 98, of Webb City, Missouri passed away May 6, 2021 at home, with family, in Webb City, Missouri.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 10 AM at Sunset Memorial Park, Ponca City, OK with Chris Hoyer officiating. Those unable to attend the Funeral Ceremony, may attend virtually on the Trout Funeral Home website, www.troutfuneralhome.com. Elsie was born on January 4, 1923 in Taloga, Oklahoma to Ernest and Carrie (Phares) Knox. Elsie grew up in Brush, CO and graduated from Snyder High School in 1942. On October 5, 1944, she married, Eldon Aubry Hoyer at the Assembly of God church in Brush, CO. They moved to a farm in Diamond, MO in 1956 where she lived for 53 years. Together, the couple had two children, Lavern Hoyer, and Gene Hoyer.

Elsie was a member of the First Assembly of God church in Diamond, MO. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working on the family farm, gardening, attending church services, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Gene Hoyer and his wife, Cheryl, of Diamond, MO, daughter-in-law, Janet Hoyer of Ponca City, OK, brother, Vern Knox and his wife, Beverly, of Phoenix, AZ, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Hoyer; son, Lavern Hoyer, her parents, two sisters, and one brother.
