Juanita A. Fildes of Ponca City passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020. Juanita was born June 1, 1939 to Ralph W. and Lorraine Dollarhide in Pawnee, Oklahoma.

Juanita met and married Howard Cornelius on May 4, 1957. They had 3 children and were blessed with many wonderful years and memories until his death in 1987.

God's plan was for Juanita to find love again. On June 3, 1988 she married Darrel Fildes, the man that she would spend the rest of her life with. Darrel and Juanita spent many great years together doing all of the things they loved. Always together they were inseparable.

Juanita took great pride on being a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, garage sales, fishing and cooking family meals from scratch. Her most requested were biscuits and sausage gravy and chicken and noodles. She loved being outdoors and took every opportunity to fish with her family.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, many brothers and sisters and her son Ronald Cornelius. She is survived by her husband Darrel, her son Johnny Cornelius, her daughter Ronda (Curtis) Kleinpeter, step-daughter Terri (Monte) Salyer, step-son Darrel (Esther) Fildes, Jr., her sister Mary Rice, lots of grand children, several great grand children and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank everyone for all of the thoughts and prayers during this time.
