Joyce Ann Calvert of Claremore left this world to be with Jesus on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. She was 81. She was born on August 13, 1936 in Winfield, Kansas to Alfred E Hughes and Irene Louise Beeson Hughes. Joyce attended Ponca City High School. She enjoyed playing cards, completing word search puzzles, laughing and spending time with her family. She always wore a smile.

She is survived by her children Larry Martin of Ponca City, Lynn Martin of Claremore, and Gary Martin of Drumright, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Rex Hughes, one sister Jean Rhodd and a daughter-in-law Brenda Martin.

Ms. Calvert will lie in state at Grace Memorial Chapel from noon until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 8:00 until 5:00 on Friday. The family will be present to receive visitors Monday morning before the service from 10:00 until 12:00. A funeral Service will be held for Joyce on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. The service will take place at Grace Memorial Chapel located at 2016 N 14th Street in Ponca City. Burial will follow at Resthaven Sunset Memorial Gardens in Osage County. ((NOTE: Believe "Osage County" to be in error, actually Kay County))

Pallbearers will be Dustin Martin, Jacob Martin, Tommy Morgan, Jr., Dalton Feathers, Kaidon Mauk, and Gavin Feathers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kolton Feathers, Avery Feathers, Will Hefner, Jordan Morgan, Tommy Morgan III, Mason Mauk, Dylan Martin, Gaige Martin and Trusler Means.
