May 20, 1916 - January 10, 2013

Lois Baker, 96, passed away at St. Ann's Home in Oklahoma City January 9, 2013.

Lois was born in Kansas May 20, 1916, was educated in Iola KS & married Hilton Baker Oct. 19, 1935. They moved to Wichita, KS during the war where Hilton was employed at Boeing Aircraft. With their three children they moved to Ponca City in 1948 & resided there till 2001.

Lois worked a few years at J. C. Penney's, was a housewife, a Mary Kay Consultant, an active member of the First Methodist Church & The Ponca City Chapter Of Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her late husband & all five of her brothers.

She is survived by daughter Marlene Porter of Choctaw, OK, son Larry H. Baker of Oklahoma City & daughter Sharon & husband Phil Beman of Guthrie, OK. Lois has ten grand children & 42 great & great-great grand children.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Ponca City, Officiated by grand son-in-law David Strange of Ft. Worth, TX.
