Bobby Jean Allred, resident of Ponca City, OK, passed away Monday, October 26, 2014 in Ponca City, OK. She was 88.

The service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, November 3, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church with Chaplain Tom Howard officiating. Burial will then follow at the Resthaven Memorial Parks in Ponca City, OK. Casketbearers will be Brian Upton, Chelsea Upton, Natalie Upton, Parker Upton, Emily Allred and Jennie Allred. Honorary Casketbearer is Glenn Allred. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Bobby was born on January 5, 1926 to Homer Webb and Gustava Spann in Enid, OK. She was raised in Enid, Oklahoma and attended Enid High School where she graduated in 1944 and Oklahoma State University where she graduated in 1948 with a degree in Interior Design. Bobby married Raymond Charles Allred, August 20, 1948. They were married for 52 years. She worked two years at the University of Kentucky teaching Furniture Renovation.

Bobby was a member of First United Methodist Church for more than 50 years. She was involved in United Methodist Women, American Association of University Women, Circle, Panhellinic and Delta Zeta Sorority where she served as Chapter President at OSU in 1947. She loved traveling, playing bridge, gardening and antiques.

Bobby was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Raymond Charles Allred.

She is survived by Sons, Ronald D. Allred and wife Kristen of Houston, Texas, Barry Allred and wife Mandy of Dublin, Ohio; daughter, Jana Upton and husband Paul of Prosper, Texas; grandchildren, Brian Upton of Austin, Texas, Chelsea Upton of New York City, Natalie Upton of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Parker Upton of Prosper, Texas, Glenn Allred of Stavanger, Norway, Emily Allred of Houston, Texas, and Jennie Allred of Houston, Texas.

The Allred family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Trout Funeral Home.
