Brenda Green
August 1, 1951 - September 20, 2025

Brenda Lee Green, a cherished figure in the hearts of many, passed away peacefully at her home in Ponca City, Oklahoma, on September 20, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on August 1, 1951, in Ponca City, to Charles and Margaret Eaton Sanders.

Brenda dedicated 17 years of her life to Pioneer Tech working in the office until she joined the Ponca City Hospital as a data entry specialist, embodying a strong work ethic coupled with an unwavering commitment to helping others. Her professional journey was marked not only by her skills but by the friendships and connections she cultivated along the way.

Education played a significant role in shaping Brenda's life. She graduated from Tonkawa High School. She met the love of her life James Green and they were married, August 1, 1987, in Ponca City, OK.

A sweet, kind, and fun-loving grandmother, Brenda found immense joy in her grandchildren, Houston, Navaha, Myha, Lacey, and Eva. The proudest accomplishments of her life revolved around them, as she delighted in watching sporting events at Frontier Schools, cherishing every moment spent together. Her loving involvement extended beyond mere attendance; she was their greatest supporter, celebrating their achievements and nurturing their dreams.

Brenda took pleasure in gardening, sewing, crocheting, and quilting, each activity bringing her joy and allowing her to express her artistic flair. Her ability to create beauty extended into her relationships and community, as she often shared handmade gifts with loved ones, each stitch infused with love.

Brenda is survived by her husband, James Green, Jr., her sons, J.C. Bloomer, Jason Green and wife Shasha all of Ponca city, OK and a loving circle of grandchildren who will carry her memory forward in their hearts. She also leaves behind her Aunt Noella Harmon of Ponca City and several nieces and nephews.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Charles Gordon Sanders, her mother, Margarete Sanders, her sisters Glenda Sanders, and Jaunita Dehart, one brother, Gordon Sanders.

A graveside service will be held in her honor at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma, on September 26, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Chris Short officiating.
