December 29, 1947 - February 23, 2025
Edward Lee Arnold, 77, of Ponca City, OK, died on Sunday, February 23, 2025. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Edward was born on Monday, December 29, 1947, in Anthony, KS, to Virgil Victor and Grace Louise (Bradley) Arnold. He attended schools in Anthony, KS, and Enid, OK, before he graduated from Ponca City High School in May of 1966. He enlisted in the US Navy. After returning from the Navy, he settled in Ponca City, and married Linda Marie King on May 24, 1974. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of a league. He bowled a perfect game. He worked at Pioneer Wholesale, Southwestern Stationary and Huffy Bicycles. Prior to his death, he worked as a route delivery driver for the Ponca City News.
Edward is survived by: his siblings, Judy Talley of Okemah, OK, Billy Arnold and his wife, Tammi, of Ponca City, OK, Sue Robb of Ponca City, OK, Gary Arnold and his wife Sheila of Ponca City, OK, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Edward was proceeded in death by his wife Linda, his parents Virgil and Gracie, and one sister Kathy.
