Mrs. Walkingskys Funeral Services To Be Held Sunday

Mrs. Frances Walkingsky died Thursday night at 10 o'clock at the Pawnee Indian hospital where she had been a patient for a week.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home west of the 101 Ranch. The traditional Indian feast will take place at noon preceding the funeral. Rev. John Stonewood, of the Indian Baptist Church, will conduct the services.

Mrs. Walkingsky was born on February 2, 1900, in Ponca City where she spent all of her life. She was a member of the Indian Baptist mission.

She is survived by her husband, Woolsey, four sons, Wallace Iron, Levi Iron, Paul Walkingsky, all of the home and Clifford Walkingsky, Wyandotte, and a daughter, Mrs. Cynthia Ahtone, Anadarko; and three brothers, Charlie Giveswater, Frank Giveswater and Albert Giveswater, all of Ponca City; and four grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Ponca Indian Cemetery under the direction of the Miles funeral home.
