Theodore Bear Rhodd, 51, of Ponca City, passed away Sunday, Nov 30, 2014 at Ponca City Medical Center. He was born on October 24, 1963 in Pawnee, OK to Peter P. and Lillian F. Adair Rhodd. He was the 2nd eldest son.

Bear had a passion and great love for fishing and hunting. He loved to blast his favorite tunes on his stereo. He enjoyed camping and having his grandkids in his presence every day.

Bear was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Harrison Rhodd and Peter P. Rhodd, Jr., daughter Casey Rhodd and 2 grandchildren Kawliga and Kiden Harvey.

Bear is survived by his wifeSylvia, daughters Cheryl Rhodd, Christine Rhodd and Catherine Rhodd all of Ponca City. Grandchildren Kyle Harvey, Kellan Harvey, Leila Allen, Tatiana Allen, Jaicia Allen, Christopher Lasley, Tierra Lasley and Rylee Lasley. Brothers Sisters Mary Rhodd, Joshua Rhodd, Penny Rhodd, John Rhodd and Sunni Marie Haze. StepMotherCarolyn Rhodd. NieceHeather Rhodd. And other numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Wake services will be held at 7 pm, Tuesday December 2, 2014 and Wednesday, December 3, 2014. Traditional NOON meal will be on Thursday, December 4, 2014 with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. all at the Ponca Tribal Cultural Center, with Brother Jimmy White officiating. Burial will follow in the Ponca tribal Cemetery of White Eagle, OK.
