Tabitha Rachel Renee Warrior Page passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 26. Rachel was born on November 15, 1992 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her parents are Kenneth and Sandra (Warrior) Lay of Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Traditional Ponca Tribal Services will start Saturday, June 29, 2019, with Rachel’s arrival at the Ponca Indian Methodist Church and conclude Sunday June 30, 2019, with the Noon feast, giveaway and traditional funeral service followed by burial at the Ponca Tribal Cemetery. Pastor Jim White will be presiding over the services. Casketbearers will be; Waylon Jimboy, Bryson Eagle, Isaac McGee, Nate Collins, Henry Collins, Wesley Collins and Justin Collins. Honorary Casketbearers are; Robert Collins, Bruce Collins, Travis Mallory, Matt Baker and Antonio Diaz.

Rachel grew up in the Ponca City area, graduating from PoHi and attending Northern Oklahoma College for some college courses. She was known for her love of reading, with a special fondness for the Harry Potter series. If she wasn’t curled up with a good book she could be found hanging out with her friends. Rachel was known by people she wasn’t close with to be rather shy, however once she knew you’d be a friend that all changed. Rachel was proud to be a member of the Ponca Indian Tribe and showed a special interest in the rights of American Indians.

Ones left to mourn Rachel’s passing are her significant other, Russell Salvador, her daughters; Misty Salvador and Tara Page, mother; Sandra Lay and father; Kenneth Lay; siblings; Shelly Behar, Ken Lay, Jr., Anitra Warrior, Alisa Eagle, Andy Lay, Lonnie Roy, Desiree Diaz, Tara Baker, Joe Lay, Melanie Trejos, Guyanna Warrior and Sophia Warrior and her sisters; Gayle DeLodge, Lori James, Erica West and Nicole West, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends.

Rachel is preceded in death by her grandparents; Adolphus and Lucille Warrior, aunt; Viola Collins, Uncle; Bruce Warrior and niece; Cara Webster.

Arrangements are under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City. Messages may be left online for the family at www.gracememorialchapel.net.
