Sandra Irene Hinman Haight, 55, of Ponca City, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Sandra was born on Nov. 10, 1958 in Pawnee, OK to Samuel Hinman and Wanda Youker. Sandra was a lifelong area resident, graduating from Marland high School. She was an avid fan of OU and the Dallas Cowboys where NO ONE said a bad thing about THE COWBOYS. Loved to play Scratch Off, she was the Centennial Princess of the Ponca Nation in 1976. She had a very beautiful spirit and everyone loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, HusbandCharles W. Haight, SonMichael Ray Hinman, 2 Brothers Dave Little Cook and Teddy Youker.

She is survived by 4 children Samuel Hinman of Ponca City, Hauli Sioux Warrior Gray of Yukon, OK, Marcus Hinman of Deer River, MN and Brian Ibarra of Corpus Christi, TX. Siblings Karen Little Cook of Ponca City, Lloyd Ray Hinman of Ponca City, Roy Hinman of Ponca City, Teresa Mae Zazueta of Omaha, NE and Tara Ann Hinman of Ponca City. 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Numerous Nieces Nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Wake Service will be at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Traditional Noon meal on Thursday, October 16, 2014 with Funeral Services at 2:00 pm all at the Ponca Tribal Cultural Center with Rev. Louis Headman officiating.

Burial will follow in the Ponca Tribal Cemetery. Her lifelong friend, Barbara King, will be by her side during these services.
