Nadine Ellis former resident of Ponca City passed away Sunday December 6, 2020 in Norman Oklahoma. She was 73 years of age. Nadine was born March 26, 1947 in Ponca City to Abraham Conklin Sr and Ida Mae Giveswater Conklin.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in the Ponca Tribal Cemetery with Pastor Jim White officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City, OK.

Nadine grew up in Ponca City and she moved to OKC wither family and graduated from Capital Hill in OKC after graduation she enrolled in the University of Oklahoma. She married Leroy Ellis and they made their home in Norman. Nadine enjoyed reading, watch movies, attending POW WOW’s and spending time with her great grandchildren. Nadine was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints.

Those left behind to cherish her memory, her husband; Leroy Ellis of Norman, OK 4 Children; Emma Hamilton, Angela Hernandez, Johnsey Hamilton and Aaron Ellis all of Norman, OK, numerous grandchildren and very beloved great grandchildren and One Aunt; Vivian Saupitty-Gooday of Lawton, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
