December 26, 1960 - April 14, 2021

Geraldine Grace (Cerre) Cornell, 60, of Tonkawa, OK, left this life on April 14, 2021. Traditional Noon Feast will take place at the Ponca Tribal Cultural Center with services starting at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 18, 2021, with interment immediately following at Ponca Tribal Cemetery Jim White will be officiating. Face masks are required. Services are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Geraldine was born on December 26, 1960, in Pawnee, OK, to Ben Mitchell Cerre and Colleen (Collins) Knight. She worked as a law enforcement dispatcher for many years.

She is survived by: her mother, Colleen Knight; daughter, Leslie Cornell; son, Cory Simpson; grandchildren, Alec Kent, Gracelynn Cornell, sisters, Dora Cerre, Pauline Chama; brother, Arthur Cerre; nephews, Ben Silva, Luis Silva, Jared Silva, Christopher Williams, loving cousin Vinola Rose Garcia and numerous family members and friends. She was preceded in death by: her father Ben Cerre, Husband Richard L. Cornell Sr., beloved son Richard "Lee" Cornell Jr., Sister Harriet Cerre, and Aunt Julia Cerre among so many other cherished loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Ben Silva, Luis Silva, Jared Silva, Christohper "CJ" Williams, Robert Collins and Bruce Collins.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Alec Kent, Ty Lewis, Henry Collins, Roland "Jack" Noear, Raymond Cerre, Arthur Cerre, Mitchell Cerre, Cory Simpson, Brandon Rush, Henry Cornell, Jody Cornell, Chadndano Cornell, and George Cornell.
