Robert Cole, 57, beloved brother, uncle and grandfather, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at his home in White Eagle. Bobby was born on August 21, 1956 in Pawnee, OK to Gilbert Cole, Jr. and Florence Calls Him Cole.

Robert was a lifelong area resident, attending schools in Ponca City and Chilocco Indian School. He also attended Okmulgee Tech and had worked for Air Systems Components for a number of years. Before he retired from working, he worked with the White Eagle Senior Citizens. He loved raising his five grandchildren.

He is survived by his son Amon Cole of Pawnee, Adoptive Mother Molly Walking Sky, brothers Delbert Smokey Cole, Talbert T.C. Cole both of Ponca City, sisters Connie Cole, Sarah Primeaux and Jolene Davis all of Ponca City. 5 Grandchildren George White Plume, Alexander White Plume, Hawk White Plume, Sheldon B. Tawkoyty and Alecia Merriman. He will be greatly missed.

Wake service will be 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2014, Traditional Meal will be at noon on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 and funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., all at the Ponca Indian United Methodist Church with Pastor Jimmy White officiating. Burial will follow in the Ponca Tribal Cemetery of White Eagle, OK.
