June 12, 1957 ~ August 29, 2019

Eugenia “Dennie” Brown of Ponca City passed away Thursday evening, August 29, 2019 in Tulsa with her loving family by her side. She was 62 years of age. Dennie was born June 12, 1957 in Pawnee, OK to Eugene Brown SR and Mava Roy Brown.

Traditional Noon Feast and Give away was held Sunday, September 1, 2019 in the Ponca Indian Cultural Center with Pastor Jim White officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponca Indian Cemetery with Grace Memorial Chapel in care of her arrangements.

Dennie grew up in Kay County, she was active in cultural activities and in 1972 she was the Buffalo Post 38 Princess. Dennie enjoyed cooking, sewing fringe on Shaw’s, playing Bingo, going to the Casinos and spending time with her family.

Survivors include: Children; William Daugomah of Ponca City, OK, Harrison Daugomah and wife Angela of McAlister, OK, Margret Ricario and husband Felix of Hutchinson, KS, Charles Warrior and wife Leah of Tonkawa, OK, Fred Warrior Sr. And wife Juanita of Tonkawa, OK Sarah Warrior of Ponca City, OK James Warrior JR. and wife Michelle of Ponca City, OK, Lila Big Medicine and husband Benjamin of Poncas City, OK Mildred Warrior of Ponca City, OK Odi Brown Sr and wife Alicia, of Ponca City, OK Lamont Warrior Sr of Blackwell, OK Rollar Warrior Sr and wife Leanna Rhodd of Ponca City, OK Sadie Warrior and husband Dillon Jeans of Ponca City, OK Ashton Warrior of Ponca City, OK Joe Brown and wife Brenda and Jason Cerre both of Ponca City, OK4 brothers; Edward Brown of Billings, OK Phillip Brown of South Dakota, Lamont Brown of Ponca City, OK and Cody Brown of Nebraska. 2 sisters: Martha Brown of Ponca City, OK and Theresa Brown of Billings, OK. Also surviving are 50 + grandchildren and 1 great grandson and a host of Nieces and nephews.

Dennie was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, 1 sister and 5 grandkids.
