Leonard Ralph Biggoose, resident of Ponca City, passed Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the Ponca City Medical Center. He was 66 years of age.

Leonard was born January 23, 1949 in Pawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Leonard Biggoose Jr. and Emma (Packhorse) Biggoose. He attended the Chilocco Indian School. He was employed in earlier years as a truck driver. He was a member of the Ponca Indian Methodist Church. His enjoyments included being outdoors and riding motorcycles.

He is survived by his five daughters, Heather Lance, Mattie Walker, Arlene Overland, Reanna Biggoose and Della Biggoose; two sons, Carl DeLodge and Beau Biggoose; three sisters, Lavonna Lieb, Luann Martin and Lisa Chapparro; one brother, Leroy Biggoose; grandchildren Jaden Biggoose, Blake Biggoose, T.J. Gomez, Rebecca DeLodge, Carl DeLodge Jr., Shon DeLodge, Turner DeLodge, Treylon DeLodge, James Poore, Talon and Louis, Ronnie Ingram, Aubree Biggoose, Beau Biggoose Jr., Ophelia Botone, Angela Botone, Cleve Botone and Chalo Walker Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Jenny Brown and Gina Thomas; two brothers, Rayburn LeClair and Lester Biggoose.

Prayer services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Ponca Indian Methodist Church. The traditional noon meal will be served on Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Ponca Tribal Cultural Center with the funeral to be held at 2 p.m. at the Ponca Indian Methodist Church with Bro. Jimmy White presiding. Burial will follow in the Ponca Tribal Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.

Casket bearers are Blake Biggoose, Cleve Botone, Zeke Rubio, Nenbah Biggoose, Turner Others, Wiley Whitehorn, John Peacock, Curtis Primeaux, Delbert Smokey Cole and Steven Roy.DeLodge, Ruben Delachuz and Darrin Roy. Honorary casket bearers are Thomas Roy, Freddie
