Ponca City – Eula V. Taft, 76, died early Friday in a Ponca City medical center following an extended illness. Her service will be at 10 AM Monday in Grace Episcopal Church at Ponca City with the Rev. Lawrence R. Boyd as celebrant. Burial will be in the I00F Cemetery under direction of E. M. Trout and Sons Funeral Home, Ponca City.

Mrs. Taft was born April 28, 1903, at Davis, and spent her early life in the Helena and Garber areas. She married Arthur Taft August 26, 1922, in Guthrie. The couple moved to Ponca City in 1927 where he was employed as an accountant for the Conoco Oil Company.

Mrs. Taft was active in the Ponca City Women's Republic Club, and served as President of the group in 1964. She was also a communicant of Grace Episcopal Church.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur; one daughter, Charlotte Weltge, Ponca City; one granddaughter; two great – grandchildren; and a brother, Lucas Arnett, Amarillo, Texas.

Memorials may be made to the Grace Episcopal Church, Memorial Fund.
