Donna Gail Newlin, longtime resident of Ponca City, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was 58 years of age.

Donna was born August 30, 1952 in El Dorado, Arkansas, the daughter of Glen Cranford and Katherine Montgomery Cranford. She attended Lincoln Elementary School, West Jr. High and was a 1971 graduate of Ponca City High School. She was married to David Newlin on May 26, 1972 in Ponca City. The couple was married 30 years. She was a member of Sunset Baptist Church. Donna had worked at various jobs throughout her years but her greatest enjoyment in life was caring for her family.

Donna is survived by her three sons, Jason Newlin and wife, Tamra, Devin Newlin and wife, April, and Kevin Newlin, all of Ponca City two sisters, Patsy Willerton and husband, Kenneth, and Connie Green, all of Ponca City one brother, Wayne Cranford, and wife, Sue, of Ponca City eight grandchildren, Katlyn and Dillon, Grace and Hope, Trenton, Lane, Landon and Alyssa 6 stepgrandchildren, Heaven Dye, Jacob and Destiny Bates, Matthew White, Emma Peterson, Victoria Peterson and a unborn first great grandchild on the way numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents parents two sisters, Glenda Jones and Delores Simmons.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011 at the Sunset Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Brown presiding. Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
