William R. McFeely Dies in Mississippi

William Ray McFeely, 120 North Osage St., died unexpectedly Thursday in Vicksburg, Mississippi, where he and his wife were passing through on their vacation. He was 50 years old.

McFeely came to Ponca City in 1930 from Wichita Falls, Texas. He had been employed by Continental Oil company since 1920. He was an engineer designer draftsmen in the engineering department.

He was born March 29, 1900, in Pueblo, Colorado. He was a veteran of World War I and was a charter member and first adjutant of the local VFW post.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie. She will arrive in Ponca City by plane Saturday.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Miles funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
