Dolly Means-Keener, 91, of Ponca City, left this life on February 16, 2021. A private, family Funeral Ceremony will take place at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 23, 2021, with Pastor Sybol Day officiating. Those who would like to attend the Funeral Ceremony may view virtually on the Trout Funeral Home website, www.troutfuneralhome.com and click on the live-stream or toolbar icon on the top right corner after 1:45 PM. A public Graveside Ceremony will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Face masks are required to protect the ones we love. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Dolly was born on November 20, 1929, in Moodys, OK, to Andrew and Nancy (Kingfisher) Johnson. Dolly graduated from Sequoyah High School in 1949, and attended St. Joseph Nursing School. She married Hugh Means in May of 1955, Newkirk, OK. After Hugh's death, she married, Chestine Keener. She was very proud of her Cherokee heritage.

Dolly is survived by her children; Maxie Means and his wife, Patty, Quana Selvey and her husband, John, Carla West and her husband, Kevin, Bart Means and his husband, Greg Waldorf, Pam Laney and her husband, Scott, Burt Means and his wife, LynnaBeth; Grandchildren: Mandy Mitchell and her husband, Michael, Matt Means, Mallory Means, Lindy Tucker and her husband, Scott, Whitney Jackson and her husband, Dylan, Tyler Selvey and his wife, Amber, Jason Lane and his partner Celena Philberick, Celena, Keitha Hockert and her husband, Brett, Kevin West Jr. and his wife, Amber, Julianna Means-Waldorf, Mariah Means-Waldorf, Chelsea Clemmons and her husband, Jason, Aubrey Hammett and her husband, Kevin, Dustin Means and his wife, Keli, Andrew Means and his girlfriend, Courtney Orr; great-grandchildren, Brenner, Hadley, Nate, Landrie, Noah, Logan, Kinley, Cole, Harper, Carly, Carlaeona, Kerinity, Keitha, Miangel, Carla, Kevin III, Jake, Lillian, Sam, Piper, Snow, Colt, Ezra, Kylee, Colter; great-great-grandchildren, Riley and Miah; and brother, John Johnson and his wife, Betty.

She was preceded in death by: her husbands, Hugh Means and Chestine Keener; parents, sisters, Lucy Ricketts, Susie Keener; and brother, Michael Johnson.

Pallbearers will be: Jason Lane, Matt Means, Tyler Selvey, Dustin Means, Kevin West, Jr. and Andrew Means. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mandy Mitchell, Lindy Tucker, Whitney Jackson, Keitha Hockert, Mallory Means, Chelsea Clemmons, Aubrey Hammett, Julianna Means-Waldorf and Mariah Means-Waldorf.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Creekside Village Assisted Living, 1500 E Bradley Ave, Ponca City, OK 74604, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
