Ponca City – Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Hudson, 55, who died Saturday in a local hospital, will be at 2 PM Monday in Asbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. Randy Crownover officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellow Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.

Born February 18, 1924 in El Dorado, Arkansas, to George and Nellia Walker, Mrs. Hudson was raised and educated in Shreveport, Louisiana. She completed nurses training at Charity Hospital in New Orleans and served as a Navy nurse during World War II.

She was married to H. R. Hudson August 23, 1948 in Pittsburg, Texas, making their home in Grand Isle, Louisiana. She worked as a nurse in the Eastern New Mexico Medical Center before moving to Ponca City in July, 1956 where Hudson was employed with Continental Oil Company.

Mrs. Hudson was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Ponca City Women's Republican Club and active with the American Red Cross Blood Bank.

Survivors include her husband of the home; one son, Richard, Parkersburg, West Virginia; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia (Pat) Keller, Enid; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
