Dorinda "Wendy" Jean Hermes, resident of Ponca City, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019.

Wendy was born on October 10, 1964 in Marion, Indiana. She graduated from Norman High School in 1982. She was a loving and caring person, always quick to smile. Wendy was a very creative person who loved to draw and sing. She loved quilting and made beautiful hand stitched quilts. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and being around all kinds of animals, many of which she would try to adopt.

Wendy will be deeply missed by her husband, Zack Hermes of Ponca City, son, Joseph Brown and wife, Tristin, daughter, Jennifer Deatherage and husband, Eddie, parents, Don and Linda Brown, brother, Marty Pattison and wife, Robin, sister, Robin Pattison, grandchildren, Chloe and Evie, and many others in a large, extended, and loving family.

Friends and loved ones may pay their respects at Trout Funeral Home on Saturday, May 18th from 9am-8pm and on Sunday, May 19th from 1pm-8pm. A funeral ceremony for Wendy will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Ranch Drive Baptist Church.

Wendy's cheerful personality will be deeply missed by all of those who were lucky enough to know and love her.

Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
