Michael ''Mike'' Golay former resident of Ponca City, OK passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was 66 years of age. Mike was born on December 20, 1950 to Thomas Eugene and Marjorie Gaddis Golay. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, October 1, 2017 in the Grace Memorial Chapel with Mr. Mickey Terry officiating. Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday, October 2, 2017 in the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Grace Memorial Chapel in care of the arrangements. Visitation will be Saturday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the family in attendance from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to receive friends and relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Oklahoma Chapter, P O Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or American Kidney Fund 6110 Executive Blvd. Suite 1010 Rockville, MD 20852-9813.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Van Norris, Ronnie Hudnall, Johnny Green, Chuck Elliott, Jerry Younger and Chuck Nikkle.

Mike grew up in Ponca City and he married his first love Marsha Moreland on January 1, 1970 and to this marriage a son Mark was born. Mike and Marsha separated and in 1979 he married Tammy Harbeson and 3 children came from this union, Cory, Darcy and Kaylee. After 34 years this marriage also ended. He and his first wife Marsha married again in 2013. They lived in Bartlesville and Yukon OK, settling in Piedmont, OK in 2015. Mike worked for ConocoPhillips for 33 years and he retired in 2013. During his time with ConocoPhillips, he lived in Shilder, OK, Duncan, OK, Perryton, TX and Denton, TX. Mike enjoyed fishing, grilling and building things with his hands. He also enjoyed riding his Goldwing Motorcycle. After his retirement he and Marsha enjoyed travelling with friends and taking trips on their Goldwing. He was a member of the Goldwing Road Riders Assoc. and ''the Moles of Silence'' motorcycle group.

Survivors include: wife Marsha of the home. 2 daughters; Darcy Espino and husband Luis of Denton, TX Kaylee Alfaro and husband Ruben of Perryton, TX 1 Son: Mark Moreland and wife Tina of Chickasha, OK 2 Step daughters: Kaley Warren and husband Steve and Bethany Nave and husband Bradon all of Piedmont, OK 1 brother: Kevin Golay and wife Leslie of Ponca City, OK. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Julia, Ellie, Kellen, Michael, Chaz, Tucker, Brennon, Blaike and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son: Cory Golay in 1980 and 1 brother; Richie Golay.
