Georgia Mae Golay, former Ponca City resident, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Nov. 18, 2009 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, Arkansas. She was 77 years of age.

Georgia was born July 9, 1932 at Woodward, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late John Elsie Hoag Stiemtz. She attended the Vici, Oklahoma schools. Georgia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, as well as a member of the Church of Christ. Her enjoyments included gardening and traveling.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Orla Lee Golay of the home; a son Larry Golay of Houston, Texas; a daughter and spouse Rose Marie Robert Bailey of Russellville, Arkansas; grandchildren Chris Bailey, Kim Golay, Kathaleen Bailey, Mary Pineda, and Michael Bailey and 5 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Paul Stiemtz.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday Nov. 23, at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.

Orla Lee Golay, age 85, of Russellville, Arkansas, formerly of Ponca City, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on March 21, 2017 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born on August 4, 1931 in Ponca City to Fred and Urella Golay.

Lee was a barber and longtime equipment operator for the state of Oklahoma. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Lee enjoyed hunting, spending time with his grandchildren and talking on the telephone with his lifelong best friend Max.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Devon Golay, a son, Larry Golay and his loving wife of 56 years, Georgia Mae Golay. Survivors include his daughter Rose Marie Bailey and her spouse Robert of Russellville, sister, Nadine Fahs of Texas, grandchildren, Chris Bailey, Kim Zapata, Kathleen Keeton, Mary Pineda and Michael Bailey as well as 8 great grandchildren.

A graveside ceremony will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
