On Wednesday, November 4, 2020, Linda Donnene Garrett passed away in Grove, Oklahoma. Linda was born February 28, 1955 in the Ponca City Hospital to Scott Williams Garrett and Alka Nathalie “Bunchy” Garrett (Francis).

Linda attended Liberty Elementary, West Jr. High and graduated from Ponca City High School in 1973.

Linda worked at the Retail Credit Bureau from 1973 to 1977; Albright Title & Trust, in Newkirk, from1977 to 1980. She went to work at Conoco in 1980 and took early retirement in 1991. She worked at Air System Components (Titus) in 1991 until 2013.Linda was an accomplished crafts woman, winning four National Competitions in counted cross-stitch, and over 125 awards for various crafts at fairs. She was also an avid reader all her life.She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hiwasse in Gravette, Arkansas, where her cousin, Clyde Garrett was pastor.

She is survived by her brother, Wade Garrett, of Hutchison, Kansas; niece, Kimberly Koehler, of Pratt, Kansas; and niece, Jennifer Madden, of Wichita, Kansas. Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be Monday, November 9, at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel, 2016 N. 14th Street with Pastor Dennis Wildman officiating. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City, OK
