Ronald William Frost, longtime resident of Ponca City, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the Ponca City Medical Center. He was 77 years of age.

Ronald was born May 21, 1935 in Ponca City, the son of Robert W. Frost and Iola Marie Elliott Frost. He was a 1955 graduate of Ponca City High School. He was married to Lexyle Miller on April 14, 1957. He had been employed as a cement contractor before beginning employment with Conoco. He retired from the Conoco Building Operations department on December 31, 1992.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ponca City and his enjoyments were working in the yard, carpentry work, remodeling and any form of construction

He is survived by his wife, Lexyle, of the home two sons, Richard Todd Frost and wife, Diana, of Garland, Texas and Justin Wayne Frost of Muskogee, Oklahoma one brother, Donald Dean Frost and wife Kathy, of Midwest City three grandchildren, Ashley Frost of Tulsa, Richard Travis Frost of Ponca City, and Cionte Frost of Muskogee. He was preceded in death by his parents one son, Scotty Ray Frost one infant daughter, Melonie Lynn and one sister, Jennifer Ann Frost Golay.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2012 at Grace Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Ponca City I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
