Matthew Robert Feathers was born December 7,1988, in Ponca City to Robin Ferrill and Tony Feathers. He passed from this life on April 8, 2021 as a result of an automobile accident. He lived most of his life in Ponca City but had recently been a resident of Owasso. He was a loving father and enjoyed spending time with his son, Jax. He enjoyed fishing and tinkering with cars. Matt loved spending time with his family, especially with his brothers. As a youth he enjoyed playing basketball and baseball. He coached his sons' baseball team and enjoyed being a family man.

He is survived by his mother, Robin Ferrill, and his father Tony Feathers, son Jax, brothers Kory, Jacob and Caleb, and sister Macey, stepbrothers and sister Stacie, Zachary and Jeremiah Snyder, stepfather Robert Snyder, grandparents Bobby and Hanako Ferrill and Melva and Thane Emmons, girlfriend Mandi Gilmore, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

There will be a time of visitation from 4pm to 7pm on Tuesday, April 13th, at Grace Memorial Chapel, 2016 N 14th St, Ponca City. A Funeral Service will be held in Matt’s honor at 10:30 on Wednesday, April 14th, at Grace Tabernacle of Praise, 1601 E Coleman Rd, Ponca City with Pastor David Cale presiding. Matt will be laid to rest in the Ponca City I.O.O.F. Cemetery. His pallbearers will be Kory Cottman, Caleb Feathers, Bobby Ferrill, Robbie Ferrill, Jacob Feathers, and Stephen Curfman.
