These acts of consideration and kindness will be dearly missed by the many lives she touched.

Other enjoyments in Amandas life included shopping, stamp collecting, being a part of many mission trips in this country and some abroad, singing and whistling, watching football and the Olympics on television.

She is survived by her husband, Don, of the home three sons, Don Clinton II and wife, Andrea, Marland, Oklahoma, Jack Clinton and wife, Christina, of Stillwater and Donald Lee Cook of Ponca City 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. The couple also had other special people in their life that included two people they helped raise, Betty Gillespie and Phillip Brookshire. They also helped with the welfare of Joe Fulton for some 16 years. Amanda was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Valda Jo Short.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Grace Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2011 in the Worship Center of the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Shamburger presiding. Interment will follow in the Ponca City I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel
