Ponca City IOOF Cemetery


Ernest Earl Breedlove passed away at the age of 75, April 24, 2019 after a long illness.

He was Born in National City, California to Helen and Rolla Breedlove but moved to Ponca City at an early age. He graduated from Ponca City High School and proudly served in the Oklahoma National Guard during the Vietnam era.

After working for Shamrock Oil Company in Sunray, Texas he came back to Ponca City to work for Continental Oil in 1972, where he worked until retirement.

He is survived by his wife Karen; daughter, Cheryl and husband Tom; son, Dennis. Grandchildren; Heather and husband Calvin, Tayler and partner Chelsea, Peyton and Riley: Great Grandchildren: Jacob, Trentin, Alysun, Madilyn and Skyler; Two brothers Dale and wife Penny, Jeff and wife Trudy; Sisters; Bonnie and husband Clifford, Shirly and Janelle..

He is proceeded in death by his parents; one son, Kevin; brother, Steve; two brother-in-law's, Jimmy Cowan and Ken Slaton.

Services will be at Trout Funeral Home Chapel Friday April 26, 2019 at 2 pm, with burial following at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects at the funeral home on Thursday April 25th, 6 - 8 pm.
