Mary Elizabeth Revard Ballard, former resident of Ponca City, passed August 7, 2015 at her home in Lufkin, Texas. She was 73 years of age.

Mary was born on July 21, 1942 in Ponca City, the daughter of Joseph Revard and Genevive (Wells) Revard Little. She attended the Ponca City Schools.

Her enjoyments were her grandchildren and great grandchildren, going to church, taking vacation trips with her brother, listening to Elvis Presley music and making pineapple upside down cakes.

She is survived by two children, Jennifer DePriest Painter and husband Michael, of Lufkin, Texas and Stephen DePriest and wife Debra, also of Lufkin; one brother, Joseph Revard of Newkirk, Oklahoma; grandchildren Stephanie DePriest and Jillian DePriest; great grandchildren Robin Wilcox and Lawla DePriest; nieces Linda Revard and Vera Rodriguez; other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Debbie Stranberg.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. August 13, 2015 at Grace Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Wildman presiding. Interment was in the Ponca City I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
