A Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Charles Vance Sprowls, age 67 years, of Garber, OK is 10:00 am, Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Vernon Lee will officiate. Burial will follow in Newkirk Cemetery, Newkirk, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Charles passed away Sunday, December 28, 2015.

Charles was born March 1, 1948 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Daniel Vance Sprowls and Dorothy Lee (Yandell) Sprowls. He attended Enid Public Schools. Following high school, he served his country in the United States Army. He married Sherry Kay Baggett October 18, 1965 in Enid. They had three children, Laurie, Shaun and Mandy, and he also had another daughter Shannon Michelle Baldwin, with Janet Baldwin. He was the owner of Moore’s Cleaning Service in Enid before retiring and moving to Garber, Oklahoma. He loved to go fishing, collecting knives, and his beloved dogs, Loretta and Ninja, and his “grand-pup” Misfit.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Dorothy, a niece, Pamela Jane Guinn, and a nephew, Richard Daniel Law. He is survived by his children, Laurie Richardson, of Covington, OK; Shaun Sprowls, of Garber, OK; Mandy Sprowls, of Enid; a sister, Sandra Benham; eight grandchildren, Matecha Richardson, Michelle Richardson, Vance Sprowls, Tashina Ahner, Lyle Ahner, Shaun Prock, Kayla Brook-Burton, Michael Ryan Corder; nine great-grandchildren, Justin Allen Richardson, Ethan Prock, Tyler Robinson, Christian Hokanson, Dason Hokanson, Josie Cheyenne Spangler, Leland Welch, Alysen Ahner, Malaki Hokanson; and one niece Penny Sinclair.

The family would like to thank Linda Sprowls, Jeriel Gray, and Matecha Richardson for staying by Charles side and their extraordinary acts of love. It will never be forgotten.

Memorials may be made to the Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
