The funeral for Gloria June Jamieson, 68, of Deer Creek, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at First United Methodist Church, Nardin. The Rev. Robert Foos will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Nardin. Arrangements are by Roberts and Son Funeral Home, Blackwell.

She was born Feb. 23, 1940, in Blackwell to Alfred Don and Beulah Epperly Henry and died Friday, June 6, 2008, near Deer Creek.

She attended Blackwell Public Schools. She married Darrell Jamieson Nov. 10, 1956, in Guthrie. They made their home in Blackwell. They moved to Deer Creek in 1961, where she was a homemaker. She went to work for Nardin and Deer Creek post offices as a parttime mail clerk in 1988. In 1993, she also began working at the Lamont convenience store. Later, she became full time at the Deer Creek post office as a clerk. She was a member of Nardin Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Darrell Jamieson of the home; one son, Darren Jamieson of Tulsa; three daughters, Tammy Hoemann of Deer Creek, and Kimberlye Mayer and Vicki Corbitt, both of Blackwell; two sisters, Betty Whitehead of Blackwell and Stella Smith of Tulsa; three brothers, Donald Henry of Blackwell, Richard Henry of Oklahoma City and Bobby Henry of Wichita, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, one grandson, one brother and two sisters.

A memorial may be made through the funeral home to Raindrops Child Loss Center, Ponca City.
