Harvey Don Wright

Harvey Don Wright, resident of Ponca City, passed Monday, October 21, 2013 at his home.

He was 76 years of age.

Harvey was born September 9, 1937 at Perry, Oklahoma, the son of Orville Wright and Ruby Zoma (Payne) Wright. He was a graduate of Ponca City High School and served his country in the United States Army. He was married to Judy Gibb and later to Noreen Atkins. His enjoyments were dancing, fishing and hunting. 

He is survived by his six children, Ricky Wright, Richard Wright, Kelley Wright, Dawn Wright, Rhonda Meyer and Alan Wright; one sister, Sherry Castleman; nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and numerous other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Grace Memorial Chapel with Hospice of North Central Oklahoma Chaplain Mike Sweetman presiding. Interment will follow in Longwood Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.

Casket bearers are Jeff Meyer, Jimmy Davis, Barry Young, Seth Meyer, Shawn Stephens and Scott Stephens. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 1904 North Union, Suite 103, Ponca City, Oklahoma 74601.
