Randy Wayne Wilson, 49, of Ponca City, passed away Wednesday, April 4 2012 at the Ponca City Medical Center. Randy was born on May 19, 1962 in Ponca City to Dewey and Evelyn HARRIS Wilson.

Randy attended the Ponca City Schools and was a 1980 Graduate of Ponca City High School, he was married to Pam Rankins on June 15, 1985 at the Central Baptist Church of Ponca City, Pam preceded him in death on December 15, 2011. They made their first home in Ponca City and had lived in Fort Hood, TX, Huntsville, TX and Wichita, KS before returning back to Ponca City in 1990. Randy was the Maintenance Director for Via Christi Village.

Randy was a member of Central Baptist Church, Extra Eyes, Parks and Recreation Board, Golden Villa Board and started the Citizens Fire Academy, avid OSU fan and liked to hunt. Randy enjoyed John Wayne movies, was a wrestler in both High School and the military. Randy was currently in the Army Reserves assigned to the 223rd Maintenance Unit from Bartlesville. Randy did a tour in Iraq in 2005.

Randy is survived by his daughterAllison Marie Wilson of the home, parents Dewey and Eve Wilson of Ponca City, brothers and sisters Gary and Wendy Wilson of Ponca City, Kenny and Barbara Wilson of Kershaw, South Carolina and Tina and Lanny Williams of Kershaw, South Carolina. Aunts and Uncles Linda and John Moore of Alabama, Rita and Pete Hamm of Alabama, Brenda and Jim Adams of California, Fay and Carol Sharon of North Carolina, Gene and Juanita Petty of Tulsa and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Also survived by his MotherinLaw Gwen Rankins of Ponca City, SisterinLaw Marty Neely of Stillwater, OK Broinlaw and SisterinLaw Burkie and Terri Rankins of Wichita, KS.

Funeral Services will 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Central Baptist Church with Pastor John Waterloo officiating. Burial will follow in the Longwood Cemetery.
