August 22, 1943 - May 13, 2020

Albert Bigelow VanOrnum, 76, of Ponca City, OK, died on May 13, 2020. Family visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Trout Funeral Home. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, May 18, 2020, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Dennis Wildman officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Longwood Cemetery.

Please note the ceremony and visitation will be limited to 50 people or less in compliance with the restrictions in place within the State of Oklahoma. To accommodate those unable to attend, the ceremony will be broadcast live. Click the live stream link in the top, right hand corner of the main page at www.troutfuneralhome.com. The ceremony will also be available on the Trout Funeral Home Facebook page.

Albert was born on August 22, 1943, in Canton, New York, to Loyde A. and Jeneva M. (Bigelow) VanOrnum. He worked many years farming. Albert enjoyed camping and loved animals. He was also a member of the Kildare Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children, Leslie Clark, Christopher and Amy; sisters, Alberta Bush and her husband, Vernon, Janey Shepherd and her husband, Dick; brothers Jim VanOrnum and Deward VanOrnum, all of New York; niece and care-giver, Tammy Emery and her husband, Dwayne of Ponca City; several other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 93, Burbank, OK 74633.

Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
