Clarence Jerry Mulllins
1939 - 2009

San Antonio, Texas---Clarence Jerry Mullins, former resident of Ponca City, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009, at his residence. He was 69. He was born in Ponca City and graduated from Ponca City High School. He was a long-time rancher and cattle buyer.
Clarence lived in Boerne, Texas, for the past seven years, where he and Mrs. Mullins were long-time members and supporters of Cornerstone Church and John Hagee Ministries. He was a loving husband, daddy, and granddad.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Opal Roady Mullins; and a daughter, Cathy Renee Mullins.
Survivors include his wife, Doreta Mullins; two daughters, Carey Dwyer and husband Mark and Kelly Mayer and husband Mark; six grandchildren, Cathy, Chelsea, Paul, Sarah, John and Daniel; and three sisters, Jane James and husband Richard, Lynda Mullins, and Shirley Long and husband Russell.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Trout Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Porter Loring Mortuary North in San Antonio, Texas.
A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 31, at Longwood Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Tim Isaacs, Mark Dwyer, Mark Mayer, Sergio Trocha, Andres Palacios, Paul Dwyer, John Mayer and Daniel Dwyer.

Novemberr 29, 1961 - April 7, 1974

Cathy Renee Mullins was born November 29, 1961 to Clarence "Jerry" Mullins and Doreta Johnstone Mullins and passed from this life on April 7, 1974 at the age of 12 from a battle with reticulum cell sarcoma.

Before her illness, Cathy was active in Girls' basketball and track as well as the Burbank 4H program.

Since she has been bedridden, she spent most of her time reading.

She is survived by her parents, Jerry and Doreta Johnstone Mullins; two sisters Carey and Kelly Mullins; her maternal grandparents Jim and Ruby Ford Johnstone; and paternal grandparents Clarence and Opal Roady Mullins as well as many other relatives and friends.

Burial was in Longwood Cemetery.
