Jimmy L. Garrigus longtime Ponca City resident passed away Friday morning, February 3, 2017, in Ponca City, OK. He was 71 years of age. Jimmy was born on April 7, 1945 in Kansas City, MO to Albert and Viva Greenhaw Garrigus. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in Grace Memorial Chapel with Chaplin Devon McAnally officiating. Interment will follow in the Longwood Cemetery with arrangements in care of Grace Memorial Chapel.

Jimmy grew up in Kansas City and he met the Love of his life Judy Cobb in Junction City, Kansas and they were married on September 14, 1983 and they made their first home in Junction City, KS. He moved with his family to Ponca City, OK in 1985. He worked for Waddle tire for a time and then went into the Trucking Business driving for several companies and at the time of his retirement in 2005 he was driving for Glass Trucking with over 10 years of service. During his spare time Jimmy enjoyed Fishing, Camping and playing cards.

Jimmy is survived by his Wife: Judy of the Home; 3sons: Buddy L. Garrigus of CA.; Rich Garrigus and wife Cindy of Napa, Idaho and Darin Sample and wife Kim of AltaVista, KS; 2 daughters: Michelle Niebuhr of Redding, CA and Shelly Chamberlain of Ponca City, OK, 3 brothers: James Garrigus of , Bobby Garrigus and Dale Garrigus all of Bernie, CA . He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother: Al Garrigus.
