Sidney Jack Cartwright, 68, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend went to heaven on June 10, 2021. He was born Jan. 8, 1953 to Virgie and Roby Cartwright. He had two sisters, Peggy Cartwright and Jill Cartwright (Young). Jack is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Teresa Cartwright. They had 3 children, Heath Cartwright, Chad Cartwright and Karen Ramey. He had 9 grandchildren. Lucas, Landon, Camryn and Cale Cartwright. Domonic, Madison, MaKenzie, and Shelby Ramey and Brayden Walton. A great grandfather to Ian Cartwright and Callum Ramey.

He loved spending time with his wife and kids. His passion was fishing and hunting with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed family gatherings and time outside and teaching his grandkids how to ride horses. He loved making memories with all his family. He loved joking around with his kids and grandkids. One of his favorite sayings was "don't go away mad just go away" and he would just laugh!

Everyone that met Jack liked him. He was truly a kind, caring, loving, sweet man that everyone enjoyed being around. He was a gentle soul that will be deeply missed by many.

A graveside service will be held at the Longwood Cemetery on June 16, 2021 at 10:00 am. After the service family and friends will gather at Karen and Allen Ramey's home at 132 Glenside Ave in Ponca City.
