Robert Lester Puckett

April 23, 1935 ~ January 11, 2022

Robert Puckett, 86, beloved Husband, Father and grandfather was called to his eternal resting place on January 11, 2022. He entered this world on April 23, 1935, in Rocky Ford, Colorado, born to Vivan L. and Lucy Barber Puckett.

Robert served a tour of duty in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956. He met the love of his life Dixie Dewey, and they were married November 10, 1960, in San Diego, CA they moved to Ponca City in the early 2000's. Robert was of the Baptist faith and he enjoyed Target shooting, fishing, and camping. He retired from General Dynamics as Senior Engineer.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Dixie of 61 years. One son; Daniel Puckett and wife Jackie of Pinedale, AZ, 2 grandchildren; Tanya Puckett and Kevin Puckett all of Pinedale, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, two half-brothers and one-half sister.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022, in the Longwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, January 17, 2022, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Grace Memorial chapel of Ponca City.
